Our engineering team can provide fully detailed design drawings supported by structural calculations. As we have engineering expertise within our company we can provide innovative scaffold designs to our clients at short notice. Our designs comply with structural specifications and careful consideration is given for the need for designed structures to be user-friendly for the relevant trades.
We are currently involved in a Knowledge Transfer Partnership with Edinburgh Napier University. The challenge for the project is to develop and embed an efficient software based mechanism for the design, detailing and specification of scaffold systems in accordance with new European Code of Structural Practice (which become mandatory in 2010).
By utilising bespoke software to automate the process the turnaround times for designs will be reduced dramatically. The KTP project completion is set for April 2011.
